hey, sorry about that, ive had to reformat my computer since your last
message, so i lost your address, but heres the info.

ok, here it goes.

from left to right, facing the back panel

next to the power input, above the audio in jack, is the vca trimpot.
you can use this to adjust the output level of the synth.

the next trimpot is kind of above the G in rogue, its called osc 2
hi-end. ill get into the useage of this later.

above the U in rogue is osc 1 hi-end.

above the M in MOOG there are four trimpots, from left to right are osc2
range, osc2 scale, osc1 scale, osc1 range.

above the O in MOOG is the octave trimpot.

and above the G in MOOG there is the keyboard scale trimpot.

so for a quicklist, L to R, with the resistor #s theyre given in the
manual:

VCA R139
OSC2 HI-END R72
OSC 1 HI-END R97
RaNGe 2 - R51
SCaLe 2 - R48
SCaLe 1 - R54
RaNGe 1 - R58
OCTave - R155
KeyBoarD SCaLe- R24

the caps/lowercase are because the service manual abbreviated the names
of the trimpots, the capital letters are the exact name the manual gave
it.

now, for the recommended tune-up procedure

OSC 1 scale frequency and hi end adjustments

set the following controls:
master volume maximum
osc 1 level maximum
osc 2 and noise levels minimum
filter cutoff maximum
filter emphasis minimum
filter contour amt minimum
vca mode bypass
osc sync off
octave 32'
osc waveform sawtooth
osc 2 interval unison
osc and vcf modulation off
tune centered
pitch wheel centered

hold low A key, using range 1 trimpot (R58) adjust osc 1 for 55 Hz

hold high A key, using scale 1 trimpot (R54) adjust osc 1 for 220Hz

repeat two steps above until a perfect 2 octave spread is obtained.

change octave switch to 8'

hold low A key, adjust octave trimpot (R155) until osc1 is 220 Hz

hold high A key, adjust hi-end trimpot (R97) until osc1 is 880 Hz

repeat two steps above until a perfect 2 octave spread is obtained.

repeat all above steps until tuning is satisfactory in all ranges

Oscillator 2 scale, frequency and hi-end adjustments.

set the controls the same as osc1 procedures except for the following:

osc1 level minimum
osc2 level maximum

center the following trimpots:

range 2 (R51)
scale 2 (R48)
Osc2 Hi-End (R72)

hold low A key, using range 2 trimpot (R51) adjust osc2 to 55 Hz

hold high A key, using scale 2 trimpot (R48) adjust osc2 to 220 Hz

repeat two steps above until a perfect 2 octave spread is obtained.

change octave switch to 8'

hold high A key, adjust range2 trimpot (RR51) until osc2 is 220 Hz

hold high A key, adjust osc2 hi-end trimpot (R72) until osc2 is 880 Hz

repeat two steps above until a perfect 2 octave spread is obtained.

repeat all above steps until tuning is satisfactory in all ranges


wow that was a lot to type, hope you can use it. this is also CCed to
the analogue heaven list, as theres bound to be someone there who can
use this as well.
